Overview
You will learn the skills and knowledge to work in the building and construction industry with particular focus on low rise buildings and light steel structures. The course includes learning about the BCA, codes and standards, estimating and site supervision.
Throughout your studies you will be exposed to a wide range of building sites and structures currently under construction in the ACT, engage with key industry employers, visit building projects and liaise with a range of project managers and stakeholders across a broad range of ventures.
This qualification is required to meet the ACT Class C builder's license.

To be successful in this course and to meet the required outcomes you will need to have access to a workplace that services building and project management types of work.

Undertake a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills test (prior to entry) to ensure your Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills match the demands of the course (level 3).
