Our teams are continuing to actively work on restoring eLearn course content in preparation for student access being re-established in early March.

Classes are proceeding with interim adjustments continuing to be made to minimise disruptions. We understand the challenges this situation presents to our students, and we are grateful for the continued understanding and patience while we manage this complex situation. We are continuing to offer support through our educators, Student Services and Student Support teams.

In the coming days, students will start to receive direct communication from educators with details on next steps ahead of student eLearn access being re-established, including information for students who have attempted, submitted or completed assessments from 6 January to 19 February 2025, when the whole of ACT Government ICT outage occurred. If needed, special considerations or extended due dates will be arranged to support students in completing their assessments.

If you are concerned about any upcoming assessments, please speak to your educator for specific updates. They will inform you of any changes to assessment submission dates or methods. You can also contact 91视频 Student Services for further guidance.

91视频 is continuing to manage the whole of ACT Government ICT outage that has impacted several key systems, including eLearn. While the majority of 91视频 systems have now been fully restored, including printing services, student communication channels and 91视频 Self-Service, our teams remain focused on the restoration of eLearn.

Classes are ongoing and educators are continuing to actively implement interim adjustments to class schedules, study time, and assessments to minimise disruptions to coursework. Access to eLearn has been re-established for educators who are checking content and functionality prior to student access being restored.

We understand the challenges the ongoing outage presents to our students, and we are committed to supporting you through this time. Our support teams, including educators and Student Services teams, are available to assist you across all 91视频 campuses. Printing services and student communication channels, including phone services, have been fully restored. We are still working on restoring other systems, including eLearn and 91视频 Self-Service.

What systems are currently affected by the ICT outage?

What should I do if I can’t access eLearn?

Educators were granted access to eLearn on 25 February 2025 and are continuing to check and update course content prior to student access being restored.

As of 28 February 2025, most students will not be able to access their classes in eLearn as the majority of courses are still undergoing content restoration in preparation for students regaining full eLearn access in early March.

All students will be notified when the date for student access has been confirmed. Notifications will be sent via SMS, email, and updates will be posted on this page.

When will student eLearn access be re-established?

I’ve logged into eLearn, and it looks different. What should I expect?

As of 28 February 2025, most students will not be able to access eLearn, as most courses are still undergoing content restoration.

If you attempt to log in during this period, you will likely see a message indicating that eLearn is undergoing maintenance. This is part of our ongoing work to restore the system by educators, who are continuing to review and update content in preparation for student regaining full eLearn access in early March.

Are assessments being delayed due to the outage?

Can I still submit my assessments in eLearn?

No, as of Friday 28 February 2025, assessments cannot currently be submitted in eLearn. If you have an upcoming assessment, your educator will provide you with guidance on alternative methods for assessment submission.

I’m concerned about upcoming assessments, what should I do?

I submitted an assessment on or before the ICT outage occurred on 19 February 2025. What happens now?

If you submitted an assessment on or after 6 January 2025 up until the ACT Government outage occurred on 19 February 2025, rest assured that your educator will reach out to you directly to discuss next steps. If needed, special considerations or extended due dates will be arranged to support you with completing your assessments during this period.

A hardware failure caused the outage.

91视频's ICT systems, supported by Digital, Data and Technology Solutions (DDTS), follow best practice guidance and are designed for business continuity. The 91视频 team is working around the clock in collaboration with our ACT Government colleagues to restore all 91视频 systems affected by this Whole of Government outage.
