The Diploma of Forensic Investigation provides students with the necessary knowledge, technical skills and attitudes to effectively perform the duties of a volume crime scene forensic investigator.
This is a restricted Police qualification, students must be currently employed by and nominated by an approved policing agency to be eligible to enrol.

Entry Requirements
Must be currently employed by an Australian Policing Agency or Military Police and be nominated/supported either financially or otherwise by the relevant jurisdictional forensic section within that State/Territory; AND
Demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills to undertake vocational education and training at the diploma level.

Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 4 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course.
