Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician UEE30820

Overview

Do you want to be a Sparky?

This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in buildings and premises.

The skills and knowledge described in this qualification require a licence or permit to practice in the workplace where work is carried out on electrical installations which are designed to operate at voltages greater than 50 volt (V) alternating current (a.c.) or 120 V direct current (d.c.).

You will have many 'hands-on' opportunities to practice and develop your skills to industry standard in our custom-built electrical workshops. You will learn and work with electrical equipment associated with sizing and testing of electrical control and power circuits with application to Australian and New Zealand standards.

On successful completion, you will be able to apply for your electrical licence through State and Territory regulators and work as a fully qualified electrician.
